There are many reasons to kayak fish. A few include: it's very affordable, it provides access to areas big boats cannot get to, kayaks are easier to transport, they provide a healthy alternative, kayaks are quiet and environmentally friendly. But perhaps the best reason is that they're fun - there's nothing like hooking into a big red or big bass and getting taken for a "Cajun Sleigh Ride".

Lake, there are dozens of waters containing some of the state's largest
bass, white perch and bream right here in Cenla. More and more folks in the Cenla area are finding out for themselves and joining the kayak fishing revolution!
